FINAL FANTASY IV (3D REMAKE) App Reviews

The game is awesome. Really it is, great graphics, great play, great nostalgic game for everyone. However its not perfect yet. The cloud save feature isnt working properly, so the progress Ive made in my iPhone doesnt sync with my iPad. Only the game center data syncs properly. I dont care about Game Center, I care if I can put down my phone, pick up my tablet, and continue where I left off seamlessly. Till then, its not perfect.

iCloud support is great. Just wished it worked for me. Update when it becomes functional. Overall game is great though. App support from developer kind of disappointing.

This game is great. But what I dont like is that every time I play it crashes. If I get one text message or any notification come through it disrupts the game and it crashes and I have to reload from the quick save. Maybe if I didnt like the game I wouldnt be so disappointed.

@ tower of Babil right now and the game just keeps crashing at the end of each fight with random enemies. Please fix this! Experienced crashes every few days while playing this game but now it has gotten really bad and I felt the need to write a review to let everyone know. For a game close to $20 I would expect gameplay with no crashes. Thanks!

I was hesitant to get this because it was on the iOS. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was completely awesome. It brought me back to some of the happiest times in my youth. Add the remade graphics and it was a five star hands down.

Great overall, l have always been a huge fan of the series and using a newer device, I would love to see further optimization for all of your remade classic FF games. Keep rockin it with the classics Square Enix!

Easily one of the best games on the app store. It does crash on the opening screen on the iOS 9 public beta though.

This game is great, I like it a lot, but I have one problem with this whole Final Fantasy thing.. The series is good, Im not hatin, but why is Square just releasing Final Fantasy for mobile? Where is Kingdom Hearts? I can understand that at the moment, Square may be too busy with FF7 vs 7, or whatever its called, or too busy with Kingdom Hearts III, but what about the simpler KH games? KH1, COM, RE: Coded, or Dream Drop Distance? I get KH X Unchained is coming up for IOS, but what about the other KH series games? I can understand that KH 2 might be a bit difficult considering its the most complex and longest KH game out there, other than BBS, but seriously Id love to pay to play RE: Coded, DDD, 1, or COM on my IPad. Square, plz make the KH series available for mobile. This game is good btw...

I think this game is great no questions asked. Now if I could just defeat Barbarricia whom Ive been stuck on for 2 months I might actually get to enjoy THE REST of the game.

UPDATE: I talked with their support team. Apparently there is a known bug where saved game syncing does NOT work with iCloud Drive. (It might work with old iCloud?) This game is fantastic but the iCloud save syncing does not work.

Great game. Only complain: steelseries mfi controller analog stick not working here.

Was excited to test this out. This doesnt compare to the old 2D version. Its a waste of money. Id would however, paused more for the 2D version that works with the Mad Catz controller.

Its a good game. Only problem I have is that Ive tried a few ways to defeat dr luague and an unable.

I loved this game on the SNES and it plays great on the iPhone, and it now has iCloud support!

The game is great. Some instances I would like the view to be looking straight down instead of 3D like the original snes. Also Gil is very very hard to come by. Other than these two minor dislikes, the game is great.

This is my first time with this game, never played the original. Such a great classic RPG, and the remastering done on it looked great. Cloud saves worked well too!

I have an iPhone 6 and updated the my iOS device to 9.2, but there is no music. You can hear cut scenes and the sounds of slashing during battle, but map music, end of fight music, etc does not work. BE WARNED!

I really like the storyline so far, but Golbez boss battle takes forever and other devices such as PSP and Nintendo DS doesnt.

This port is amazing. The controls are great, all the extras from the DS port are there, graphics are great, and the frame rate never drops. There is a couple minor flaws though. They arent too noticeable but differently stick out like a sore thumb once you notice them. The first one is when you leave the game to go to another app and then back to the game, it will sometimes restart or freeze on you. This only happens (that Ive noticed) when youre in a battle, or not in the pause menu. The second is with names. When you go to the iCloud save the names of characters are wrong. The worst one Ive seen is Edward (for some odd reason) is called Gilbert. Other then those 2 things this game is totally worth it and if those two things get fixed Ill b changing to 5 stars
